Local authority receives three motorcycles and a vehicle donated by Pontedera Town Council
Today, Brava Town Hall received three motorcycles and a vehicle donated by the Pontedera municipality in Italy, an initiative coordinated with the Seven Suns Seven Moons association.
In statements to Inforpress, the mayor of Brava, Amândio Brito, explained that the donation came about through a protocol that exists between the local authority and the Sete Sóis Sete Luas association.
According to the same source, the protocol also highlights the cultural relationship between the two municipalities and also safeguards a number of aspects that have to do with improving partnerships.
"This partnership came about with the former council team and so this is a process that has been moving forward, which today has resulted in the donation of a van and three motorcycles to this municipality," he said.
The mayor stressed that these vehicles will be an asset in the field of the environment and in the operation of the council in the area of inspection.
"We are in a process of having projects and presenting them to the Government, national and international partners with a view to mobilizing more and more resources so that the municipality feels better equipped to meet the needs of the population," he concluded.
